We are now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. The application process began early February and will be managed through BRCA’s ParentSquare account. Filling out our online interest form (below) is the first step in the application process; that step will trigger an invitation from ParentSquare to set up a free account so you can log in and begin completing the online application forms.
Blue Ridge Classical Academy is a Christian school, and parents can expect that the Bible and the Christian faith will be integrally woven into all facets of their child’s education. Although we do not require that parents be Christian, one of the application forms is a pledge all custodial parents/guardians must sign to indicate their commitment to supporting the school’s Statement of Beliefs and Christian mission.
When you have completed all application forms (one set per family), have uploaded all required documents, and have paid the one-time $150 family application fee, you will be contacted to set up a time for a family interview with our Assistant Head of School. Families will be notified of BRCA’s admission decision within two weeks of the interview.
Families who receive notification of acceptance must confirm their child(ren)’s admission through payment of a non-refundable tuition deposit of $650 per child. This deposit and the application fee will then be fully applied toward the 2025-2026 tuition. The application fee will be refunded to any family who completes the application process but is not accepted.
You can prepare in advance for the application process by pulling together the following documents and information:
• Kindergarten admission: list of all preschools/pre-kindergartens attended by your child, copy of any formal report cards or progress reports, any psychometric test results, immunization records
• 1st through 5th grade admission: list of all schools attended prior to BRCA, copy of both the prior year final and current year partial report cards, copy of all formal achievement test results, copy of any psychometric test results, copy of IEP or 504 plan (if applicable), immunization records

Tuition
Blue Ridge Classical Academy’s tuition for the 2025-26 academic year covers all fees except transportation, uniforms, basic school supplies, meals, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
Families with multiple children in the school will receive a 10% discount for the second child and a 15% discount for the third or subsequent child.
The annual tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year is as follows:
• One child in grades K-5: $9,700
• Second child in grades K-5 (10% discount): $8,730
• Third (or subsequent) child in grades K-5 (15% discount): $8,245
Families who pay the entire tuition balance by August 1 (that portion not covered by a NC Opportunity Scholarship award) will receive a 5% discount on the net balance due. Those who do not fully prepay will be billed in either 10 equal monthly installments from August 1 through May 1, or 12 equal monthly installments from July 1 through June 1. Credit card payments will incur a processing fee.
Because the school budget is tuition-dependent, families who commit to a school year are responsible for the full year’s tuition.
We highly encourage each of our families to also apply for the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship. The Opportunity Scholarship helps North Carolina families pay for tuition and other required fees to attend registered private schools. Awards range from approximately $3,000 to $7,000 based on a family's household income. The Opportunity Scholarship's Application Window is February 6 - March 6, 2025. BRCA has been approved as a registered private school in the state of North Carolina, but our presence on the Opportunity Scholarship website is still pending. Because of this, when you apply for the Opportunity Scholarship, you will need to select "Unknown" as your school choice. When our name is officially added to the list in a few weeks, you will be able to update your school choice to Blue Ridge Classical Academy.
